However with lots of resources out there for those seeking help with personal statements for study or work, we try and collate some useful links or highlight resources that may be useful. Applying for a job in law?
Law Careers have a very useful calendar of training contracts and closing dates for these. A number close of the 30th of June, so you have likely left it too late for these. However our team have lots of experience supporting candidates with their applications for their first job in law, or even early stage lawyers who want to make a move to their next role.
Considering a scholarship?
If you are considering applying for a scholarship, QS Top Universities have a downloadable guide to a large number of scholarships. If you are applying for a scholarship you will generally need an essay to help you be shortlisted/interviewed for the award. Conversion Courses – Myth Busting
If you are looking at your next move and thinking about a conversion course for a new direction, this article will help you consider the myths and the facts. From engineers switching to teaching, or accountants swapping to pharmacy – we have supported lots of candidates who wanted to make a change.
Reduced Offers – LJMU
Liverpool John Moores University are running Summer University courses over in July. Post 16, Yr 12 (or Yr 13 in Northern Ireland), which will run on virtual platforms. Summer University will offer pupils the opportunity to hear from current students, experience lectures and seminars and find out what studying in Liverpool is like. Both Summer Universities will be a mix of live and on-demand content to ensure participation throughout the day. Participation in LJMU’s Summer University gives students the opportunity to receive a reduced offer of up to two grades (16 UCAS points) if they subsequently apply for a course at LJMU.
Work Experience
It is never too early to start thinking about Work Experience. This guide supports pupils from as young as 14 who want to find out more about how to start with their work experience.
