If you a seeking a personal statement for a role which is a change from your current position or career path then having qualifications to back this up will certainly help.  So whether you use our services or not, we would like to draw your attention to Google Career Certificates.  These offer candidates the opportunities to gain new skills or to gain certification in an area that they may already have practical experience.  There are a host of these types of courses available online across a wide range of platforms.  Continual professional education and development is now an expectation whether you are just starting your career, or looking to take it to the next level.

Launched in 2018, the Google IT Certificate program has become the single most popular certificate on Coursera, and thousands of people have found new jobs and increased their earnings after completing the course.

“We’re especially proud that the Google IT Certificate provides a pathway to jobs for groups that are underrepresented in the tech industry,” said Google’s SVP of Global Affairs, Kent Walker in a blog post

Some people may assume that these certificates are solely for those working in the IT sector.  However the certificates also offer opportunities in data analytics and project management.

These are two skillsets which are required across a wide range of industries and can be applied in a large number of positions.  Other providers have a wide range of courses which may be more attuned to the needs of your next job opportunity.  If you were the hiring manager or an employer, are you more likely to give the position to someone with a certification in the area, or someone who claims to have experience of this in their current role.  Whilst the candidate with experience may be able to demonstrate this at interview stage, having the certification is likely to get your application to that stage.

At Pain Free Personal Statements we assess your current CV and supporting evidences and map this against requirements for a current or future job opportunity.

Our team will help to ensure that you draw out the most of your current experiences for your application.  if gaps are identified, the team will help to suggest practical ways to gain further experience either within your current role.

We offer a free review call, so why not get in touch to find out how we can help?
